This research aims to determine self-control of gadget dependence among Nurul Hasanah students in the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. This type of research is Quasi-experimental with a Pre test-post test one group design type. The subjects in this research were 6 students in class VIII-3 who had high gadget dependency scores. The instrument used is the gadget dependency scale. Instruments were given before and after the implementation of group counseling services. The data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test to see whether there was an effect of providing self-control technique group counseling services on student gadget dependence. This was obtained from the results of calculations with the initial test score (pre-test) in the experimental group obtained an average of = 102.14 while the post-test data obtained an average of = 66.36. The results of this research can be obtained from the Wilcoxon test which shows that in the Wilcoxon test obtained J count = 9 while J table = 0. From the table of critical values J for the Wilcoxon test is marked with the power n=6, α= 0.05 in accordance with the acceptance and rejection criteria hypothesis then the hypothesis is accepted if Jcount > Jtable, namely Jcount>Jtable where 9 > 0, from this calculation it can be seen that the treatment in the experimental group means the hypothesis states that there is a significant influence of providing group counseling services on self-control techniques on gadget dependence in class VIII students - 3 at Nurul Hasaniah School Medan for the 2023/2024 academic year can be accepted.

Dina Hidayati Hutasuhut, Dinda Yarshal ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/absorbent_mind/article/view/4510 Sun, 21 Jan 2024 05:55:11 +0000 Persepsi Masyarakat terhadap Guru Anak Usia Dini Laki-Laki di Kecamatan Kawalu Kota Tasikmalaya https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/absorbent_mind/article/view/4347
This research is motivated by the low population of male early childhood school teachers which results in a low level of masculine roles for children while they are at school. Community assessment of male early childhood school teachers is an inseparable part of the high and low population of male early childhood school teachers in early childhood school units. In line with that, this research aims to look at the public's perception of male PAUD teachers in Kawalu District, Tasikmalaya City. By knowing the public's perception of male early childhood school teachers, it is hoped that this research can be a stimulus to increase the presence of male teachers in early childhood school units. The approach taken in this research is a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey method. The research tool used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research data was processed using descriptive statistics. The results of the research show that the community has a positive perception of the presence of male early childhood school teachers, the community considers that male early childhood school teachers can act as masculine figurs and act as substitutes for fathers while their children are at school. The community also considers that male early childhood school teachers have quite challenges as professional early childhood school teachers. Ultimately, the community hopes that there will be an increase in the population of early childhood school teachers in early childhood school units, especially Kawalu District, Tasikmalaya City.
Budi Rachman ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/absorbent_mind/article/view/4347 Sun, 21 Jan 2024 06:40:28 +0000 Stimulasi Kemampuan Kognitif melalui Media Kantong Emotikon pada Anak Usia Dini https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/absorbent_mind/article/view/4326
The numeracy ability of young children is one of the important abilities for children that needs to be developed in order to equip children for the next level of education. This study aims to describe how the use of emoticon bag media can improve children's numeracy skills in group A children at Paramadinah Kindergarten Ngawi, Ngawi District, Ngawi Regency. In this study, the researcher used Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles. The subjects of this study were class A children in TK Paramadinah Ngawi, with a total of 12 students. The data collection method used in this research is observation and documentation. Children's numeracy skills at the time of pre-action can be said to have not developed. Many children have difficulty recognizing the symbols of numbers 1-10, counting the number of objects from 1-10. Children's numeracy skills can be improved through the media of emoticon bags. In the pre-action, the percentage of children's numeracy achievement was only 42% who were able to count well, in the first cycle it increased to 67% in the very well developed criteria (BSB) and in the second cycle it increased again to 83% in the very well developed criteria (BSB). So, it can be concluded that the emoticon bag media can improve the numeracy ability of group A Paramadinah Ngawi Kindergarten.
Wening Sekar Kusuma, Narendradewi Kusumastuti, Dita Primashanti Koesmadi ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/absorbent_mind/article/view/4326 Fri, 26 Jan 2024 15:37:08 +0000 Peningkatan Kemampuan Kerjasama melalui Metode Proyek pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/absorbent_mind/article/view/4361
The ability to collaborate through the project method is one effort to stimulate learning that is done together. Through qualitative research methods, including interviews, focus groups, and participant observations, insights were gathered from key stakeholders in Taiwanese ECE settings. Findings reveal that traditional approaches, rooted in Confucian values, emphasize academic readiness and teacher-directed instruction, while innovative methodologies prioritize holistic development and child-centered learning experiences. Contextual factors such as socio-economic influences and cultural traditions significantly shape the adoption and effectiveness of these approaches. The study underscores the importance of a balanced approach that integrates the strengths of both traditional and innovative methods to optimize early childhood learning experiences. These insights have implications for policy-making, curriculum development, and professional development initiatives to enhance the quality and effectiveness of early childhood education in Taiwan.
Erma Damayanti, Andi Fitriani Djollong, Asfahani Asfahani, Joni Wilson Sitopu, Uma Shankar Yadav ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/absorbent_mind/article/view/4904 Sun, 24 Mar 2024 01:05:35 +0000 Cross-Cultural Pedagogical Perspectives: A Collaborative Study with Indian Scholars in Childhood Education https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/absorbent_mind/article/view/4933
This collaborative study explores cross-cultural pedagogical perspectives in childhood education through partnerships with scholars from India.
