However, the local economy needs to be better structured, contributing to the village's reputation as impoverished and undeveloped. As a result, the village's fishermen earn very little money, which is a shame because the village should be considered prosperous, particularly in the fishing industry. The researchers in this study set out to answer two questions: how can the people of Perlis Village enhance their economy? And second, what steps can they take to protect the sea and its marine biota so that they can use it to their advantage? They used a descriptive qualitative research approach to answer these questions and scoured academic journals, books, statistics, and BPS Langkat Regency for information. They then conducted in-depth interviews and observations with five fishermen and three UMKM seafood representatives. Data analysis by description to understand the field's, market's, and village's status; data validity through source triangulation through comparison with other sources. Based on the findings, the people of Perlis Village have improved their economic situation by implementing strategies that use marine products. These include increasing their fish catches, turning seawater into salt, creating shrimp paste artisans, making salted fish from unsold fish, and managing mangrove tourism. The plan implemented by the residents of Perlis Village has the potential to enhance the economic situation in Perlis Village.
2024-01-18T00:52:21+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/amalee/article/view/3294 Community Empowerment in Making Natural Soap from Used Cooking Oil and Red Ginger 2024-01-20T02:15:55+00:00 Sri Haryanto [email protected] Lilla Puji Lestari [email protected] Sitti Rachmawati Yahya [email protected] Digvijay Pandey [email protected] Indriyani Indriyani [email protected]
Used cooking oil can be reused, one of which is to make liquid soap. The area can effectively and sustainably manage its development when complemented by a well-crafted RPJM (Regional Medium-Term Development Plan) and efficient organizational roles. The purpose of this study is to elaborate on the contribution of the Social Welfare Office to the empowerment of district communities. North Labuhanbatu Regency, NA IX-X. Obstacles to this program are usually found in remote locations, which may make it difficult for the Social Welfare Office to help those in need and strengthen communities in the NA IX-X District of North Labuhanbatu Regency. Qualitative data analysis methods such as literature review, interviews, and observations were used in this research approach. The study's findings suggest that, in line with community empowerment theory, they will help facilitate community participation to increase resource capacity. However, due to poor coordination, the role of the Social Welfare Office as a stakeholder in community empowerment for poverty alleviation, including planning, data collection, and assistance, is not optimal in fulfilling its obligations. Utilizing community-based research methods, such as action and participatory research, fosters self-awareness and conflict resolution. Through prayer, students can engage in mathematical concepts like counting and multiplication by observing actions like bows and prostrations. Media supplements, such as a ball count, can enhance learning. Contextual notions of school mathematics are evident in prayer, such as adding and multiplying natural numbers, understanding sets, arithmetic sequences, and geometry concepts like lines, angles, and parallelism. For instance, the number of prayer units illustrates adding natural numbers, while the tahajjud prayer exemplifies multiples of two. Moreover, the congregation's rows during group prayer demonstrate line segments and parallel lines, while the standing position showcases various angles. This evolving tendency might stoke locals' enthusiasm to start and develop agri-based tourism by using their farms, gardens, and other physical natural assets for both primary and secondary employment, such as by opening their properties up as agri-tourism destinations. These activities may improve the local population's ability to support themselves and their well-being as tourism has the potential to have multiplier effects. The growth of agritourism, however, might not be entirely dependent on a destination's natural or environmental resources. By using its cultural potential, it can instead be strengthened. The purpose of the research is to investigate how culture and community creativity can improve agritourism. The study is carried out at Lumbung Strawberry Tourism in Batu, Malang. The study finds that culture, when combined with natural resources, may support the growth of agritourism by enhancing the ethno-authenticity of the destination, highlighting its distinctiveness, communicating it, fostering locals' creativity, fostering innovation, boosting its popularity, and facilitating marketing. Along with utilizing its local rural agriculture, Lumbung Strawberry embraces the current of digital culture by creating destination Instagram accounts and offering locations for taking selfies and pictures.
2024-04-09T08:12:29+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement##
