Parents' knowledge and skills appropriate to children's developmental needs are essential in early childhood care. The development of technology and changes in the social environment can pose new challenges for parents, making adequate parenting literacy highly necessary. The community outreach activity carried out aimed to increase parenting literacy through child rearing education for the community of Jenangan Village, conducted on August 13, 2026, involving 64 participants. Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) was the approach used to place community potential as the foundation for activity development. The stages of the activity included asset and need identification, education, participatory discussion, simple practice, reflection, and follow-up. The material presented included child development, positive parenting, parent-child communication, character education, screen time management, play activities, and family collaboration with educational institutions. The results of the activity showed an enhancement in participants' understanding regarding responsive parenting, positive communication, mentoring digital device usage, and utilizing simple activities for child development stimulation. Using the ABCD approach can encourage the utilization of parents, educators/teachers, educational institutions, and the community environment as assets in parenting development. Through this activity, it can be seen that strategies to sustainably strengthen essential community literacy and competencies can be achieved through participatory and asset-based parenting education.
