This community service activity aims to improve the health quality of the community in Karangwaluh Village, Sampung Sub-district, Ponorogo Regency, through a morning exercise program conducted regularly every Sunday throughout the Community Service Program (KPM) period, namely on 26 July and 2, 9, and 16 August 2026. This activity was motivated by the limited time available to residents, particularly housewives, to maintain physical fitness due to their daily farming activities from early morning, as well as the absence of a regularly conducted morning exercise program in the village prior to this activity. The implementation method used the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach through four stages, namely define, determine, discover, and design, to identify the health sector as a village asset that needed to be developed. The implementation of the morning exercise consisted of three stages, namely warm-up, core movement, and cool-down, with an average of 18 participants at each session. The results showed a positive response from the community, as reflected in the voluntary support provided by residents, including refreshments and the use of sound equipment, as well as the use of the routine Thursday night (malam Jumat) recitation (yasinan) gathering as a means of inviting residents to join the exercise. Nevertheless, participant attendance tended to fluctuate, so a permanent volunteer coordinator, particularly among young housewives, is needed to ensure the activity can continue independently and sustainably after the KPM program ends.
