This community service program was motivated by the low retention rate of Al-Qur'an memorization among santri at the tahfiz boarding school in Candi Village, Pringkuku District, Pacitan Regency, East Java Province, who frequently experienced monotony due to conventional murajaah methods. The objective of this community service is to enhance the memory retention of the santri's Al-Qur'an memorization through the implementation of creative visual-based murajaah techniques. The method employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, actively involving the tahfiz santri through a series of structured stages. The implementation stages consisted of: (1) needs analysis and initial assessment of the santri's memorization levels, (2) training on creating mind mapping media and colorcoding Al-Qur'an verses, (3) intensive mentoring on group-based visual murajaah practices, and (4) periodic evaluations to measure the method's effectiveness on the quantity and accuracy of memorization. The results of the program demonstrated a significant improvement in the memory retention of the participants. The incorporation of visual elements and colors proved effective in stimulating long-term memory, helping students associate verse sequences more easily, and fostering new motivation and enthusiasm for maintaining their Al-Qur'an memorization. Through this mentoring, the santri became more independent in managing their daily murajaah schedules and successfully minimized recitation errors (fathul hal). This program is recommended for sustainable implementation to support the quality of student memorization in other tahfiz institutions.
