Pendampingan Madin As-Salam Dalam Penguatan Nilai-Nilai Keagamaan Anak Di Desa Candi
Abstract
Religious education plays an important role in shaping children's religious knowledge, worship habits, and moral character. Madrasah Diniyah (Madin) is a non-formal Islamic educational institution that provides religious instruction while fostering religious values among children. This article aims to describe the implementation of a community service program through Madin mentoring to strengthen children's religious values in Candi Village, Pringkuku District, Pacitan Regency. The community service activities were conducted directly at Madin As-Salam, Melian Hamlet, through mentoring activities involving Qur'an learning, tahfidz, joint muraja'ah, Qur'an memorization, and congregational Duha prayer. The community service method consisted of three stages: preparation, mentoring implementation, and activity evaluation through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that Madin mentoring contributed positively to improving children's interaction with the Qur'an, developing worship habits, fostering love for the Qur'an, and strengthening good character and moral values. Tahfidz activities were conducted using the Ummi method and joint muraja'ah, with memorization targets adjusted to the students' respective levels of formal education. The involvement of KPM students also supported the learning process through direct interaction and assistance with the students. Despite limitations in facilities and teaching personnel, the sustainability of activities at Madin As-Salam continues to receive support from the surrounding community. Therefore, Madin mentoring can serve as a strategic effort to strengthen children's religious values and support the development of their religious character.
