Pelatihan Seni Baca Al-Qur'an Berbasis Tajwid dan Naghom untuk Persiapan Pembinaan Calon Qari/Qariah Muda di SD N 4 Dusun Dawung Wetan Desa Candi Kecamatan Pringkuku Kabupaten Pacitan

Abstract

This community service activity is motivated by the importance of developing the potential of Al-Qur’an recitation (tilawah) among the younger generation, particularly in primary schools. This training aims to provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in Tajweed, including the correct articulation of Arabic letters and their characteristics, as well as an introduction to the melodic art of Qur’anic recitation (naghom). The program is designed to prepare prospective young qari and qariah at SD N 4 Dawung Wetan, Candi Village, Pringkuku Subdistrict, Pacitan Regency. The implementation method employs a participatory approach through several stages, including socialization, intensive training involving demonstrations and guided practice, and evaluation of students’ ability to recite the Qur’an accurately, rhythmically, and in accordance with the principles of tartil. The results indicate an improvement in students’ understanding of Tajweed rules and their basic ability to recite Qur’anic verses using melodic variations, particularly Bayati and Nahawand. This training is expected to provide a sustainable foundation for developing talented young qari and qariah from the primary school level and nurturing the next generation of Qur’anic reciters in Pacitan Regency.
