We are pleased to announce that Qalamuna - Jurnal Pendidikan, Sosial, dan Agama (Qalamuna - Journal of Education, Social, and Religion) has been accepted into the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), where it joins over 15,700 other high quality, open access, peer-reviewed journals from 124 countries. Indexation in the DOAJ means that Qalamuna complies with the open access policy of the DOAJ and meets all the strict criteria required for inclusion.

DOAJ's mission is to increase the visibility, accessibility, reputation, usage, and impact of quality, peer-reviewed, open access scholarly research journals globally, regardless of discipline, geography or language. At the moment, there are more than 5,5 million articles indexed by DOAJ and be supplied to all the major aggregators and the many research organizations and university library portals. Therefore, the authors and future authors of Qalamuna will also gain the international discoverability and visibility of their works.

As the commitment to improve its quality as a globally recognized scientific journal, Qalamuna invites international scholars to submit their best papers on Qalamuna's focus and scope. Starting on the forthcoming Vol 13 No 1 (2021), manuscripts written in English will be preferred as there will be a 30% proportion of English articles on that issue, 60% on the next issue, and so on.
