As an open-access journal that does not charge the reader and/or protect the published articles behind the paywall, Qalamuna charges the following author fees.
Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)
Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process.
Article Publication Cost (APC): 750.000.00 (IDR) or 75 (USD) for articles with a single author.
For multi-authorship articles (with more than one author), an additional 100,000 (IDR)/10 (USD) is charged per additional author.
If your submitted paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay the APC to cover publication costs.
This publication fee will not affect the editor's decision to accept or reject the article. If the manuscript is declared accepted for publication, the author will receive a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) with complete information to pay the fee.
Nevertheless, there is an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work. Please contact the editorial staff when submitting the manuscript to apply for the fee waiver.
Withdrawal of Manuscripts
The author is not allowed to withdraw submitted manuscripts, because the withdrawal is a waste of valuable resources that editors and reviewers spent a great deal of time processing submitted manuscripts and works invested by the publisher. Moreover, if there is an unethical reason to withdraw due to a double submission to another journal.
If the author still requests withdrawal of his/her manuscript during or after the peer-review process, the author will be required to pay the full APC amount per manuscript as a withdrawal penalty.
The withdrawal process will only be conducted after the penalty has been fully paid. If the author cannot or does not agree to pay such a penalty, the author and his/her affiliation will be blacklisted for publication in this journal for a period of 6-12 months.
