The method used is bibliometric analysis with the Biblioshiny application and the central database analyzed from scopus.com. The keywords used were "parental involvement" and "inclusive education" in research from 1975 to 2024. After the extraction process with only article publications in scientific journals, 170 publication data were obtained. The results of bibliometric analysis show that in nearly 50 years, the number of studies tends to be small—most research centers in the United States, with the most productive institution being the University of Minnesota. At the same time, the most productive researcher is Gabriella Pusztai, who has three publications. The primary reference journal is Early Child and Development Care. When viewed from keywords, child, parent, and parental involvement are the most dominant keywords researchers use. This provides a comprehensive picture of the development of parental involvement research. Furthermore, research is expected to be more contextualized with the socio-cultural conditions where the research is conducted to add to the diversity of research related to parental involvement, especially in inclusive education.
2025-02-20T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Diah Kurniati, Edris Zamroni, Slamet Utomo, Indah Lestari, Ana Espejo Miranahttps://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/qalamuna/article/view/6274The Concept of Islamic Inclusive Education in Early Childhood (Critical Analysis of STEAM Learning Model)2025-03-03T11:48:51+00:00Hasanah Hasanahhasanah@iiq.ac.idSuyadi Suyadisuyadi@uin-suka.ac.idZulkipli Lessyzulkipli.lessy@uin-suka.ac.id
This research aims to investigate the concept of inclusive based on Islamic education by examining the learning model of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) in PAUD critically and exploring how the development of religious aspects in the STEAM model can improve the holistic education of early childhood. The research method used by the authors is qualitative with library research, and the data collection used is documentation by searching for data from books, journals, and other sources related to the research problem and analysis techniques using content analysis. The research results generally emphasize that inclusive education in the STEAM context must integrate aspects of spirituality with science. Inclusive education based on multipotential and multidimensional is important in forming individuals who are tough and competitive in facing the challenges of the digital age. This aligns with the understanding that humans have multidimensionality, which needs to be developed comprehensively from an early age. Islamic inclusive education is by the Islamic view of human nature, where humans are created with various natures. In Islam, the term "insan kamil" emphasizes human perfection, both spiritually and materially. The aim of Islamic inclusive education is in line with Islamic education; it is to form individuals who are balanced between world life and the afterlife.
2025-03-03T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Hasanah Hasanah, Suyadi Suyadi, Zulkipli Lessyhttps://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/qalamuna/article/view/5614The Role of Future Work Self Towards Career Search Efficacy Among Undergraduate Students2025-03-11T11:49:39+00:00Gianti Gunawangianti.gunawan@psy.maranatha.edu
In adolescence and adulthood, individuals have the developmental task of finding the right career. The results offer practical recommendations for educators, policymakers, and technology developers to optimize AI use in primary schools, ensuring that it becomes an inclusive tool for enhancing educational outcomes.
2025-03-11T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Natalina Purba, Desti Pujiati, Partohap Saut Raja Sihombing, Hendra Simanjuntak, Desi Sijabathttps://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/qalamuna/article/view/6762Strengthening Democracy through Campus: The Influence of Education on Student Political Participation2025-03-11T11:49:38+00:00Elly Hasan Sadeliellyhasansadeli85@gmail.com
This study investigates the impact of democratic education on student engagement in Indonesia’s 2024 General Elections. Using a quantitative survey design, data were collected from 250 students across five universities to examine their understanding of democratic concepts, perceptions of democratic education, and political participation. The findings indicate a moderate positive correlation (r = 0.412, p < 0.001) between democratic education and political engagement. While students exhibit strong foundational knowledge of democracy, their procedural understanding—such as knowledge of institutional mechanisms and electoral processes—remains limited. The study highlights the need for higher education institutions to adopt application-based approaches to democratic education, including electoral simulations, public debates, and advocacy training, to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills. By fostering informed and active political participation, such programs hold the potential to strengthen democratic resilience in Indonesia and other developing democracies. This research contributes to the global discourse on democratic education by providing empirical evidence from a developing country context. Future research should integrate qualitative methods and explore the role of social and institutional factors in shaping political engagement for a more comprehensive understanding of the dynamics between education and democracy.
2025-03-11T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Elly Hasan Sadelihttps://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/qalamuna/article/view/6770Tandziful ‘Am: Islamic Boarding School Traditions in Caring for Harmony Interreligious People2025-03-11T11:49:37+00:00Husnul Qodimmaulani@radenfatah.ac.idAbdul Karimabdulkarim_@radenfatah.ac.idMaulani Maulanimaulani@radenfatah.ac.idMuhammad Qaafm.alfathqaaf_uin@radenfatah.ac.id
This article discusses the tradition of fanciful 'being carried out by the Darul Hikmah Islamic boarding school in maintaining harmony between Muslims and Christians in the city of Medan. Educators are the spearhead of success in the educational process. Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia have experienced a bad stigma regarding Islamic boarding school management, and this still occurs to date. Since Islamic boarding schools are poorly run, there has not been much change in the status quo in non-formal education, which is characterized as conventional, conservative, and outdated. Nevertheless, the public still strongly desires Islamic boarding schools, which are rumored to exist occasionally. Library research methods are used in this investigation. The research data source includes library resources, books, and chosen research articles pertinent to this study. According to the research findings, Kyai's responsibilities as a top leader are multifaceted; he must enhance his quality as a manager, teacher, and preacher. They can work professionally by their roles and duties and are quality in the truest sense. Providing decent salaries and ensuring teacher welfare can be a consideration for improving teacher quality to improve the quality of education; moreover, in implementing Islamic boarding schools, quality management is based on management principles, including Planning, Organizing, acting, and Controlling, which are based on quality. The implications of the results of this study for the leaders of Islamic boarding schools are that it is very important to implement quality principles, namely continuous improvement, quality standards (quality assurance), development of quality culture (development of culture), organizational changes that follow changes in vision and mission that are oriented towards quality (upside down organization) and maintaining good relationships with customers (keeping close to the customer). The research method used in this article is qualitative content analysis by critically reviewing primary and secondary literature data. Conclusions of the results show that the discourse of turāth in the Islamic world has given rise to polarizations in Islamic thought movements, including issues of violence in the name of religion, due to differences in responses to turāth and modernity. In Indonesia, discussions of the discourse of turāth have given birth to a new strand of Islamic thought called “Islamic Post-Traditionalism”. In the context of Indonesian Islamic education in the contemporary era, the discourse of turāth has significance in mapping the direction towards a bright future for Indonesian Muslims and formulating Islamic education based on peace. This article proposes the discourse of Islamic Post-Traditionalism as a paradigmatic framework to achieve these goals, both at the micro (individual) and meso (institutional) levels, as well as the macro (social) level. In turn, the construction of a civil society based on the Islamic principle of rahmah li al-‘ālamīn is expected to be realized in Indonesia in the future.
2025-04-22T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Ishom Fuadi Fikri, Husniyatus Salamah Zainiyati, Suryani Suryanihttps://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/qalamuna/article/view/6838Optimizing Competitive Advantages in Amtsilati Flagship Programs: A Strategic Approach to Enhance Islamic Boarding Schools' Competitiveness2025-02-17T02:18:12+00:00Iwan SopwandinIwansopwandin8@gmail.comAbdul BaitsIwansopwandin8@gmail.comIsep Nendri RostianaIwansopwandin8@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze the efforts made by Ansoriyah Islamic Boarding School to increase competitiveness through competitive advantages in the Amtsilati flagship program. This research uses a qualitative approach with philosophical, theological-normative, pedagogical, psychological, and sociological foundations. Data was obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with data analysis techniques that include data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusions drawn. The study results show that Tajwid learning with Ahmad's story approach can increase students' understanding, emotional involvement, and love for the Qur'an. The main obstacles in learning include limited facilities, teaching materials, and time allocation. However, the role of a patient and inspirational ustad is the key to building the motivation and confidence of students. The story-based method provides a more lively and contextual learning atmosphere. This research implies that a simple learning approach that touches on emotional and pedagogical aspects can be an effective solution in an Islamic boarding school environment with technological limitations. Ongoing support, both in terms of facilities and training of educators, is needed to strengthen the implementation of this method in the long term. This experience can be an alternative model in developing Tajwid learning that is more humanistic and applicative.
2025-04-22T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Ahmad A, Abd Rahman Getteng, Andi Fitriani Djollong, Abdul Halikhttps://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/qalamuna/article/view/6915Reconstructing Ta’dib Philosophy: A Theoretical Framework for Modern Islamic Boarding School System2025-03-19T12:44:02+00:00Heru Saiful Anwarheruanwar@unidagontor.ac.idHamid Fahmy Zarkasyihfzark@unida.gontor.ac.idMohammad Muslihmuslih@unida.gontor.ac.idSt. Noer Farida Lailanoer.farida@uinsatu.ac.id
This study explores the philosophy of Ta’dib as the foundational framework for the Islamic education system, emphasizing moral and character development alongside intellectual growth. This research employed a literature review method by analyzing classical and contemporary sources to explore key Islamic educational concepts' meanings, implications, and differences, including tarbiyah, ta’lim, and Ta’dib. Through a comprehensive examination of relevant books, journal articles, and scholarly works, the study identified Ta’dib as a holistic concept emphasizing moral and character development in Islamic education. The findings reveal that Ta’dib extends beyond formal education by cultivating individuals with noble morals, ethical conduct, and a deep understanding of Islamic values. Unlike tarbiyah and ta’lim, which focus on knowledge transfer and spiritual development, Ta’dib serves as a comprehensive moral compass for shaping character and guiding behavior. The study highlights the relevance of Ta’dib in addressing contemporary educational challenges, particularly in nurturing ethical leadership and fostering community cohesion. Quranic schools embody Ta’dib-based education and are exemplary models of integrating character formation with Islamic teachings. This research concludes that the philosophy of Ta’dib provides a sustainable and effective framework for Islamic education. It recommends that educational institutions adopt Ta’dib-centered curricula to address students' moral, spiritual, and intellectual needs, ensuring they become responsible individuals who embody Islamic principles daily.
2025-04-22T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Heru Saiful Anwar, Hamid Fahmy Zarkasyi, Mohammad Muslih, St. Noer Farida Lailahttps://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/qalamuna/article/view/5812Dynamics of Language Use in Socio-Academic Contexts and Their Implications for Language Teaching2025-02-07T09:23:31+00:00Muh Kholiqkholiq040973@gmail.com
This study explores the patterns of language use in the socio-academic context at Gunadarma University and their implications for language teaching. This study examines the process of inventorying Qur'anic verses integrated with scientific concepts in Islamic Education learning books at Manaaratul Iman Elementary School. Using a qualitative approach through document analysis and Seyyed Hossein Nasr's hermeneutic framework, this study found that identifying, selecting, and interpreting verses was not fully systematic and still lacked the application of thematic (maudhu’i) methods. The lack of teacher involvement and contextual information, such as asbabun nuzul, also weakens the integration between science and religion. The findings fill the void of practical studies integrating science and religion at the basic education level. This research analyzes the curriculum process by concretely integrating the Qur'an and science. Through periodic evaluations, the involvement of tafsir experts and scientists to apply the maudhu’i method systematically, and teacher training in thematic methods are also important recommendations so that the integration of religion and science does not stop at the concept level, but becomes a transformative Islamic curriculum model that is relevant to the times.
2025-05-02T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Eni Zulaiha, Pebrianu Srifatonahhttps://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/qalamuna/article/view/6203Development of Educational Games Based on Design Thinking to Improve Mathematical Thinking Skills2025-04-25T14:17:41+00:00Muhtarom Muhtarommuhtarom@upgris.ac.idSugiyanti Sugiyantikhoirulfathoni@insuriponorogo.ac.idMuhammad Saifuddin Zuhrikhoirulfathoni@insuriponorogo.ac.idNur Latifah Dwi Mutiarakhoirulfathoni@insuriponorogo.ac.idHendrisa Adrilliankhoirulfathoni@insuriponorogo.ac.idMilagros Baldemorkhoirulfathoni@insuriponorogo.ac.id
The development of technology has a significant impact on the world of education. Through a quasi-experimental design, this study combines quantitative surveys, social media sentiment analysis with big data-based NLP, and statistical regression of academic records from 1,200 students at 10 universities in Indonesia. The study results show that students' negative perception of Indonesian courses has a significant negative correlation with their academic achievement. Through regression and correlation analysis, it was found that students with higher levels of negative sentiment towards this course tended to have a lower Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA), with R² = 0.23 (p < 0.001) which suggests that the negative perception of the course can explain the variability of a GPA of 23%. These findings suggest that an unpleasant learning experience can significantly affect students' academic performance, especially when associated with teaching methods, curriculum relevance, and students' academic burden. The implications of this study confirm that curriculum reform and technology-based pedagogical innovation are not only needed to improve students' learning experience, but also play a role in optimizing academic outcomes.
2025-05-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Isnaeni Praptanti, Wahyudi Wahyudi, Wildan Aji Saputra, Cicih Wiarsih, Sony Irianto
