This research is important because the government has established an inclusion system in all schools. Inclusive schools have students from different backgrounds. So that teacher competence becomes very important, especially pedagogical competence, because this is the key to successful learning, in qualitative research conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Seeing field conditions directly, looking at documentation of lesson plans to evaluations, and interviewing the teachers involved can provide more in-depth information: triangulating time, sources, and techniques tested data. The results explained that Fun and Play Kindergarten and Talenta Kindergarten teachers had the best pedagogical skills. This can be seen from the pedagogical competence of teachers according to Permendikbud Number 137 in assessing aspects of child development; evaluating theories of play and learning; creating development activities that are by the curriculum; organising educational development activities; and developing children's potential.
2025-08-09T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Firdaus Sa'adah, Naili Rohmah https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/qalamuna/article/view/7136 Students' Perceptions of the Concept of Halal Tourism at Bira White Sand Beach 2025-05-04T01:19:38+00:00 Irwan Irwan irwanunsa212@gmail.com Adi Sumandiyar adisumandiyar@gmail.com
This research explores students' perceptions of halal tourism at Pasir Putih Bira Beach, Bulukumba Regency, and their potential in promoting halal tourism based on local culture. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The informants were 50 high school students in classes XI and XII, selected based on religiosity, domicile near tourist areas, and travel experience. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The research results show that most students have a normative understanding of halal tourism, such as the importance of worship facilities, halal food, and restrictions on interactions between genders. However, gaps were found between this understanding and the reality on the ground, including the lack of halal facilities and tourist behavior that was not in line with religious values. Students experience a dilemma between maintaining religious values and the reality of modern tourism. The research conclusion shows that students have the potential to become halal tourism promotion agents by integrating local cultural values such as politeness and respect for guests. This research recommends educating the younger generation and promoting halal tourism based on local wisdom to create inclusive and competitive destinations.
2025-08-09T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Irwan Irwan, Adi Sumandiyar https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/qalamuna/article/view/7140 Transformation of Character Education Through Implementation of Local Wisdom Values in Madrasah 2025-05-03T23:17:48+00:00 Firman Sidik firmansidik@iaingorontalo.ac.id Herson Anwar herson.anwar@iaingorontalo.ac.id Istianah Masruroh Kobandaha istikobandaha@iaingorontalo.ac.id
This study aims to examine the transformation of character education by implementing local wisdom values in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Gorontalo City. This research uses a qualitative type, where data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawn. The study results show that character education is transformed through implementing local wisdom values, such as huyula, which are integrated into character education through three main strategies: internalization of values, integration in learning, and habituation through daily practice. The values of local wisdom are introduced cognitively, internalized affectively, and manifested in students' actions. This transformation shows that character education based on local wisdom can sustainably shape the students' social attitudes, care, and cooperation. In addition, this approach proves the effectiveness of contextual pedagogy in bridging the values of local wisdom, religious teachings, and national educational goals. Therefore, the integration of local wisdom values in character education needs to be strengthened and replicated in the context of education in all aspects to provide significant scientific contributions in the development of character education studies based on local wisdom. This finding also strengthens the understanding that integrating local wisdom values , such as cooperation, can be a contextual and relevant foundation in shaping students' character.
2025-08-09T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Firman Sidik, Herson Anwar, Istianah Masruroh Kobandaha https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/qalamuna/article/view/7256 Project-Based Learning for Functional Arabic Writing Materials Development 2025-05-16T15:01:34+00:00 Ali Ba'ul Chusna uul_chusna@iainponorogo.ac.id Imam Asrori imam.asrori.um@um.ac.id Abdul Aziz aaziz@uin-malang.ac.id
This research and development aims to describe (1) project-based functional Arabic writing teaching materials, (2) validation results of teaching materials from material experts, linguists, and learning media experts, and (3) the effectiveness of the use of project-based functional Arabic writing teaching materials. This quasi-experimental study involved 150 tenth-grade students, with samples selected using cluster random sampling due to class homogeneity. Class X1, consisting of 30 students, was assigned as the experimental group using Canva-based PjBL, while Class X2, with 31 students, was designated as the control group using conventional learning methods. Research instruments included pre-tests and post-tests to assess learning outcomes and questionnaires, and observation sheets to measure motivation. Data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, descriptive statistics, and N-Gain tests. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant improvement in both learning outcomes and motivation. The experimental class achieved a higher post-test mean score (M = 17.50, SD = 1.43) than the control class (M = 14.52, SD = 2.22), with p < 0.001. The N-Gain value for learning outcomes was 0.7604, and learning motivation was 0.8157, indicating high improvement. These results demonstrate that Canva-based PjBL effectively enhances students’ academic achievement and learning motivation in history classrooms.
2025-08-09T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Ria Alifah, Waris Waris; Fauzan Adhim https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/qalamuna/article/view/5708 Development of a Team-Project-Based Flip Classroom Learning Model to Enhance Creativity in Teacher Training High School Students 2025-07-09T13:29:50+00:00 Sri Sumarni srisumarni@staff.uns.ac.id Riska Nurhayati riskanurhayati431@gmail.com Ida Nugroho Saputro idanugroho@staff.uns.ac.id
This study aims to analyze the needs of students' creativity skills in learning, develop a Team Project-Based Flip Classroom Learning Model, and determine the learning model's effectiveness. The research was conducted at one of the vocational schools in Sukoharjo Regency. This research was conducted as research and development using mixed methods in data collection. The instrument's validity for measuring the learning model was evaluated using the Aiken V coefficient, and the model's effectiveness was determined using the N-gain score. The results showed that the team project-based flip classroom learning model is reliable and efficient. This model has three main steps: independent learning, face-to-face learning, and guided learning for self-reflection. These findings imply that teachers, particularly at the vocational education level, can utilize the team-project-based flipped classroom learning model as an alternative learning strategy that emphasizes material mastery and optimizes student creativity development. This model is also relevant for applications in subjects requiring technical skills and creative problem-solving.
2025-08-19T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Sri Sumarni, Riska Nurhayati, Ida Nugroho Saputro https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/qalamuna/article/view/7202 Managerial Accountability of Madrasah Principals and Teacher Performance of Private Madrasah Aliyah in Banten Province 2025-05-08T05:29:09+00:00 Wawan Abdullah wawan@uinbanten.ac.id Encep Syarifudin encep.syarifudin@uinbanten.ac.id Nafan Tarihoran nafan.tarihoran@uinbanten.ac.id Rijal Firdaos rijal.firdaos@uinbanten.ac.id Supardi Supardi supardi@uinbanten.ac.id
This study explores the influence of managerial accountability of madrasah principals on teacher performance in private Madrasah Aliyah in Banten Province, Indonesia. As demands for quality Islamic education increase, the role of principals in ensuring transparent, responsible, and effective management becomes crucial. Using a quantitative explanatory design, data were collected from 217 teachers across 28 madrasahs through stratified random sampling. Due to non-normal data distribution, Spearman’s Rho correlation was used for analysis. The results show that managerial accountability and teacher performance fall into the “good” category. The highest accountability dimension was responsibility, while personality was the strongest teacher performance aspect. A moderate positive correlation (r = 0.526, p < 0.01) was found between principals’ managerial accountability and teacher performance, with 27.6% of the performance variance explained by the accountability factor. Among the dimensions, responsibility had the strongest impact, followed by control, transparency, and responsiveness. This study highlights the importance of strengthening accountability practices among madrasah principals to improve teacher performance and educational outcomes. The findings provide valuable insights for policymakers and Islamic education leaders to promote effective, value-based school governance.
2025-08-19T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Wawan Abdullah, Encep Syarifudin, Nafan Tarihoran, Rijal Firdaos, Supardi Supardi https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/qalamuna/article/view/7314 Academic Procrastination among Students: Psychological Factor Contributions of Academic Stress, Self-Efficacy, and Self-Control 2025-06-10T14:11:58+00:00 Iszanul Dani Nurdiansah iszanuld@gmail.com Didit Darmawan dr.diditdarmawan@gmail.com
One of the most prevalent issues in educational environments is deliberate academic procrastination on school-related assignments. Students' academic performance may suffer due to this behavior, which could impede their achievement. Examining how academic stress, self-efficacy, and self-control affect students' propensity to put off academic tasks is the goal of this study. This quantitative study was conducted on ninth-grade pupils at a Surabaya state madrasah. A total of 147 students participated, selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using Google Forms distributed through the class WhatsApp group. To analyze the influence of independent and dependent variables, SPSS version 26 was used to analyze multiple linear regression. The study's findings suggest that neither academic stress nor self-efficacy substantially impacts students' academic procrastination. Self-control has a statistically significant impact on academic procrastinating behavior. Academic procrastination was significantly influenced by academic stress, self-efficacy, and self-control. Academic procrastination is thus significantly predicted by self-control. At one of the state madrasahs in Surabaya, students' academic procrastination is not primarily predicted by academic stress or self-efficacy.
2025-08-19T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Iszanul Dani Nurdiansah, Didit Darmawan https://ejournal.insuriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/qalamuna/article/view/7386 Mujadalah Ahsan Counseling Model to Overcome Mental Health Disorders of BKPI Final Year Students at PTKIN Sumatera 2025-06-15T02:40:45+00:00 Safri Mardison safrimardison@uinib.ac.id Jum Anidar jumanidar@uinib.ac.id Suryadi Fajri suryadifajri@uinib.ac.id Ilhamdi Yusra ilhamdiyusra57@gmail.com Aulia Rahmi Putri auliarahmi.putri2001@gmail.com
This study aims to develop an Islamic counseling model of Mujadalah Ahsan to overcome mental health problems (mental illness) in final year students of the Islamic Education Counseling Guidance Study Program (BKPI) at State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN) in Sumatra. Final-year BKPI students often face academic, social, and personal pressures that can trigger mental health disorders. The Mujadalah Ahsan model proposed in this study integrates Islamic counseling principles with a good and wise communication approach (ahsanu mujadalah), by the teachings of the Qur'an. The research method used is research and development (R&D), which involves needs analysis, model development, validation test by experts, and implementation in the field. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and questionnaires distributed to students and BKPI supervisors at PTKIN. The results showed that the Mujadalah Ahsan Islamic counseling model is effective in helping students overcome problems of anxiety, depression, and academic pressure through a harmonious spiritual and psychological approach. This model also contributes to developing Islamic counseling theory and practice that is more relevant in the context of Islamic higher education and enriching alternative approaches in dealing with mental health in students. Thus, this model is hoped to be implemented more widely in various PTKIN in Indonesia to support students' mental well-being.
2025-08-19T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Safri Mardison, Jum Anidar, Suryadi Fajri, Ilhamdi Yusra, Aulia Rahmi Putri
