It was conducted for four consecutive weeks on Saturday nights after the evening prayer, engaging participants across generations. The results indicated improvements in the quality of Qur’an recitation, the emergence of collective awareness to preserve religious traditions, and stronger social bonds among community members. Teachers play a acentral role in developing these skills through approppriate learning strategies. This article aims to describe the result of teacher training in implementing effective reading learning strategies for lower-grade students. The training focused on interactive and multisensory approaches, such as phonics-based reading methods, the use of visual media, and story telling techniques. This service uses the ABCD method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documents analysis.the result indicate that the training significantly improved teachers understanding of reading strategies and increased the variety of methods used in classroom instruction. Furthermore, students demonstrated greater enthusiasm and comprehension of reading material after teachers implemented the strategies learned in the training. This study aims to describe the role of Madrasah Diniyah in shaping the Islamic character of children in Sahang Village and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. A qualitative approach was used, using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awwaliyah Nurul Hikmah in Sahang Village actively fosters Islamic values through activities such as worship, Quranic learning, morals, and teacher role models. The main supporting factors include a religious environment, parental involvement, and emotional closeness between teachers and students. Meanwhile, obstacles faced include limited infrastructure, low innovation in learning methods, and challenges from external influences from a less supportive social environment. The purpose of this community service was to determine how Scouting activities at Sahang Elementary School contribute to the development of student discipline and to identify factors that support or hinder this process. The research method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR). This method was chosen based on the principle of actively involving all stakeholders, including children and teachers at Sahang Elementary School, in every stage of the activity, from planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. Data analysis included the reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions from primary and secondary data. As the results of the study showed, regular student involvement in Scouting activities significantly improved student discipline, including punctuality, responsibility, and the ability to comply with rules. Supporting factors included continuous guidance from teachers and Scout leaders, while obstacles included varying levels of parental support and limited facilities. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with the ABCD (Audience, Behavior, Condition, Degree) approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and students. The findings show that the activity of reciting short surahs is carried out every morning under the guidance of teachers using the Ummi method, with students taking turns leading the recitation. This habituation effectively cultivates spiritual values, enhances understanding of Qur’anic meanings, and builds discipline in worship. Supporting factors include teacher supervision, student awareness, school facilities, a conducive environment, and parental support. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, & Saldaña. The results show that support provided through a variety of active learning methods, the use of simple media, and collaboration with community leaders and parents. This program uses the ABCD method. The findings show that the provision of nutritionally healthy and balanced meals in children's lunchboxes still does not fully meet their nutritional needs. These meals do not follow balanced nutritional guidelines properly. Most lunchboxes are dominated by double protein, and very few include additional vegetables or fruits. The implementation of the Nutrition Day Program initiated by the school was developed through a parenting seminar with the theme of applying a healthy and nutritionally balanced diet through children's lunchboxes, which had a positive and significant impact on forming healthy eating habits. In fact, karawitan is not only a musical art form but also a medium to instill cultural values, discipline, and togetherness. Through community service activities, student mentoring was carried out with two main roles: motivator and creative facilitator. As a motivator, the program aimed to boost students’ enthusiasm by providing encouragement, guidance, and appreciation so they could feel more confident and proud to take part in karawitan. Students were also made aware that karawitan is not just an extracurricular activity, but also an effort to preserve regional cultural heritage. As a creative facilitator, learning was designed to be more enjoyable using a play-based approach, such as guessing instrument sounds, rhythm relays, and introducing traditional songs accompanied by gamelan music. This approach made students feel happier, more engaged, and less bored during practice. As a result, their enthusiasm and participation increased significantly. Students who were previously uninterested became more active, gained confidence in playing instruments, and felt proud to contribute to preserving gamelan music. Although they realize that congregational prayers and the prosperity of the mosque are part of Islamic Development, in reality they do not do it. Therefore, to examine this, the author uses a PAR approach to reveal this. The formulation of the problem in this study focuses on two main aspects, namely how congregational prayers are implemented in Sempu Village, Ngebel District, Ponorogo Regency, and what obstacles the community faces in carrying them out. To answer this question, the author uses the theory of mentoring where the mentoring process involves a relationship between the mentor and the assisted party, where the mentor himself plays a role as a problem solver, encourages independence, and develops the potential of the assisted party. The research results show that the Seglagah Hamlet community still has a limited understanding of the procedures, virtues, and benefits of congregational prayer. Internal factors such as low individual awareness, laziness, and a lack of spiritual motivation are the dominant causes of community reluctance to attend the mosque. Furthermore, external factors such as busy work, environmental influences, and minimal social support also exacerbate this situation. Some people consider congregational prayer to take longer, so they prefer to pray alone at home. The lack of religious education and weak Islamic traditions in the surrounding community also contribute to low community participation. Thus, it can be concluded that internal and external factors influence each other in shaping community religious behavior. This study recommends efforts to increase religious awareness through religious education, spiritual guidance, and strengthening the role of religious leaders and Islamic institutions in society. The purpose of this community service is to foster consistent worship habits in students, instill discipline through regularity in the timing and procedures for congregational prayer, and strengthen synergy between teachers, students, and the community in developing religious character. Congregational prayer is not only understood as an obligatory act of worship but also as a means of character education that fosters discipline, responsibility, and togetherness. The research results indicate that the habit of congregational Dhuhr prayer has a positive effect on developing student discipline, as evidenced by regular attendance on time, adherence to the rules of worship, and consistency in carrying out obligations together. Furthermore, this activity also strengthens religious culture within the school environment. The method used is Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), consisting of five stages: Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, and Destiny. The results show that students are able to demonstrate positive behaviors in developing their religious character, such as stronger spiritual connections with Allah SWT, patience, gratitude, obedience to parents, kind speech, and good manners. Although these changes are not yet significant, most students have shown improvements as described. Besides benefiting the students themselves, this program also provides valuable experience for KPM students in applying their academic skills in real-life settings. The collaborative approach among students, teachers, parents, and the local community fosters sustainable educational development by creating a positive and supportive learning environment. Using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach and qualitative methods through observation, interviews, and documentation, the study found that selametan not only functions as a ritual of prayer and gratitude, but also as an effective means of spreading Islamic teachings through culture. The symbols of offerings in selametan contain the philosophy of piety, self-awareness, and human relationships with God, nature, and each other. The purpose of this study is to formulate an optimization strategy for Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Hikmah, with the main focus on strengthening the religious curriculum as the foundation for institutional development. This study uses a qualitative approach with a Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. Data collection was carried out through collaborative observation, participatory discussions with managers and community leaders, and joint analysis of madrasah legality documents to encourage collective reflection and action. The results of the analysis show that even though they have a Registered Certificate (SKT), madrasas still carry out very basic learning and do not have excellent programs such as teaching the yellow book, tahfidz, or Arabic. This problem is exacerbated by the limited number of teachers and inadequate facilities. As a solution, a development model was formulated that centered on curriculum diversification, the addition of religious extracurricular activities, and the development of strategic collaboration with the village government and the community. Many parents enroll their children in tutoring or private lessons, yet they also continue to provide direct assistance, which is crucial for elementary school children. This article aims to describe the strategies employed by KPM students to overcome the challenges of Qur’an learning among children in Sempu Village, Ngebel Subdistrict, Ponorogo Regency. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a participatory model. Data were collected through observation, interviews with local Qur’an teachers, and documentation during the program. The subjects were eight children, consisting of two who were already reading the Qur’an and six who were still at the Iqra stage. The findings reveal significant improvements in children’s Qur’anic learning. First, their mastery of tajwid improved, particularly in applying rules of elongation and specific recitation laws. Second, the clarity of makhraj al-huruf (points of articulation) increased after intensive talaqqi practice. Third, children’s ability to write Arabic letters became neater and more accurate through step-by-step exercises. Fourth, children showed greater enthusiasm for learning, supported by stronger parental involvement. Furthermore, interviews with the Qur’an teacher highlighted limitations in time and energy for providing intensive guidance, yet acknowledged that the presence of KPM students was very helpful as motivators and technical assistants. The teacher also expressed the need for continuity after the program ends. In conclusion, the strategies of learning by doing and talaqqi were effective in improving Qur’anic learning among children in Sempu Village. The success of the program was supported by the dual role of KPM students as facilitators and motivators, and by collaborative efforts among students, teachers, and parents. Through the involvement of young people in <em>nyinom</em> activities, values of identity, morality, and competitiveness are naturally cultivated within community life.The urgency of this tradition becomes increasingly relevant when confronted with the challenges of globalization and the pervasive influence of digital culture, which often weaken social interaction and solidarity among citizens. From an interdisciplinary perspective, <em>nyinom</em> can be understood as a bridge between the past and the future: it safeguards the continuity of noble values while serving as an instrument for shaping the character of youth within the Karang Taruna organization. The techniques used include observation and documentation, with the researcher's direct involvement in activities ranging from preparation, reading Yasin and tahlil, communal prayer, to social interaction after the event. The results of the mentoring show that Yasinan and Tahlilan not only serve as ritual worship but also as a social space that strengthens relationships, solidifies solidarity, and fosters care among residents. This tradition plays an important role in maintaining a balance between the spiritual and social needs of the community, while also strengthening communication, mutual cooperation, and a sense of togetherness. Thus, the routine Yasinan and Tahlilan activities in Dukuh Dayakan have proven capable of fostering a sustainable culture of harmony. For this reason, it is important to know what are the factors that cause shyness in early childhood and what are the efforts made by teachers to overcome this condition. The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions and efforts of teachers in overcoming shyness in early childhood at TK Dharma Wanita Ponorogo. This research is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained were then processed using a qualitative analysis method with inductive reasoning.Based on the results of the study, the most dominant factors causing shyness in children include family environment, personal psychological factors, and limited experience in social interaction. Meanwhile, the efforts made by teachers include providing motivation, creating a supportive learning environment, involving children in group activities, and using a personal approach. Employing a phenomenological qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews with 56 male students aged 13–19 years. The findings reveal that the sources of academic stress are multidimensional, including strict memorization demands for nahwu and fiqh with daily targets, a competitive evaluation system, limited rest time due to the dense academic and religious schedule, and psychological pressure to meet expectations from both family and caregivers. Stress manifests in three main domains: physical (<em>chronic fatigue, sleep disturbances</em>), emotional (<em>anxiety, irritability</em>), and cognitive (<em>memory decline, difficulty concentrating</em>).The students developed dynamic and contextual coping strategies, categorized into three main patterns: (1) Religious-spiritual strategies, such as voluntary worship (tahajjud, fasting), dzikr, and tawakkul (<em>trust in God</em>); (2) Social strategies, including peer support systems and mentorship consultation; and (3) Cognitive-behavioral strategies, such as adaptive time management, self-reward, and simple relaxation techniques. The program was motivated by the limited diversity of local micro-enterprises, which have largely centered on agriculture and small-scale traditional crafts. Using a qualitative field research approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving 17 housewives as participants. The results indicate that the participants showed strong enthusiasm, with several producing woven bags of sufficient quality to be sold in the market. They also recognized the potential of this skill to serve as an additional source of household income. Challenges encountered included limited prior experience, time constraints, and difficulties in maintaining weaving consistency. These issues, however, can be addressed through ongoing practice and sustained guidance. The village government expressed its support for developing the program into a community-based micro-enterprise. The lack of public awareness regarding the long-term impacts of plastic, glass, cans, and styrofoam waste worsens environmental conditions, especially with limited information and waste management facilities in villages. This study is a community service activity based on environmental education aimed at raising the awareness of Wagir Lor Village residents, Ngebel Sub-district, about the dangers of inorganic waste through a visual medium in the form of educational signboards. The program was carried out from July to August 2025, involving village officials, youth groups, and local residents. The method included observation, signboard design, socialization, production and installation of the boards, and evaluation of community responses. The boards provided information about the decomposition period of inorganic waste, such as plastic (50–100 years), cans (80–200 years), glass (up to thousands of years), and styrofoam (more than 500 years). The results indicated that most residents still disposed of waste carelessly, but the presence of educational boards attracted considerable attention. Observations showed that around 70% of the residents read and paid attention to the information, indicating an increased curiosity and awareness of the long-term effects of waste. Community participation was also evident through the involvement of village officials, youth organizations, and schoolchildren in the installation process. The implication of this activity was an improvement in environmental awareness, marked by the early practice of waste separation and the emergence of collective concern for a cleaner village. Thus, educational signboards proved to be an effective, simple, and sustainable medium for fostering environmental awareness at the village level. The results of the community service show that the teacher's educational approach to dealing with hyperactive children implemented includes providing motivation, individual guidance, special attention, placing children in the front position, the use of fun learning methods, and educational media such as puzzle games. The impact on hyperactive children includes limited understanding of children's special needs, lack of resources and training, and suboptimal parental support. This community service concludes that the role of teachers is very important in creating a conducive learning environment for hyperactive children, with synergistic support from schools and parents. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with observation and interview data collection techniques with ustad and ustazah about how the habit of reciting the Al-Qur'an increases the enthusiasm of students to recite the Koran. The obstacle in the Koran recitation process is that they are not yet fluent in pronouncing the hijaiyah letters and also the students' knowledge of the contents of the Al-Qur'an. This decline occurred due to the negative impact of technology, especially on smartphones, which greatly influenced students' interest in reciting the Koran and students' lack of knowledge in understanding the Al-Qur'an. One of its impacts can be observed in the character development of children in Wagirlor Village, Ngebel Subdistrict, Ponorogo Regency, who actively use social media and online games. This study aims to explore how the use of digital media shapes and affects children’s character. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method through field observations, interviews with children and parents, as well as a literature review. The findings indicate that social media and online games have positive impacts, such as enhancing creativity, cooperation, competitive spirit, and providing opportunities in the creative economy. On the other hand, negative effects were also identified, including addiction, reduced face-to-face social interactions, declining interest in learning, and low digital literacy. The research uses the ABCD <em>(Asset Based Community-driven Development) method </em> , which is a method that prioritizes the benefits of assets and potentials that exist and are owned by the Nurul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. The ABCD approach emphasizes the use of the potential, assets, and strengths possessed by students and the pesantren environment, so that the learning process does not only focus on weaknesses, but on the development of existing abilities. The service was held from July 16 to August 28, 2025 at the Tani Lestari Blessing Garden, located in Njali Hamlet, Mrican Village, Jenangan District, Ponorogo Regency. ABCD is implemented by utilizing community assets in the form of agricultural land, local labor, farming experience, and existing marketing networks. These assets were identified and mobilized to design a marketing strategy for "BUMI Lestari" cashew fertilizer, develop chili harvest agro-tourism, and build a structured work management system. The purpose of this research is to design a marketing strategy for 'BUMI Lestari' cashmere fertilizer, develop agro-tourism innovations for chili harvesting to increase selling value, as well as build a structured plantation management system and marketing partnership model that strengthens farmers' bargaining positions. The methods used include in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and direct collaboration with farmers. The results of the service show that the implementation of ABCD increases community involvement, strengthens farmers' bargaining positions, increases the selling price of products by up to 50%, and creates better work discipline. The trauma healing assistance provided by the author to a student with the initials M, who attended the Mentari PKK Ngrogung Ngebel Ponorogo Playgroup, aimed to reduce or overcome the trauma felt by M after undergoing therapy, as well as to help M remember the trauma in a more positive way. The method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR). Participatory Action Research (PAR) is a research approach that places community participation at the center of the entire research process. The research employs demonstration and simulation methods combined with the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The study involved 12 elementary-level students who were guided directly in the learning process by KPM university students and supported by teachers of Madin Miftahurrahman through the stages of observation, practice, and documentation. The findings indicate that the application of demonstration and simulation methods with the ABCD approach significantly contributes to the improvement of students’ ability to recite Surah Al-Fatihah correctly according to tajwid. This learning model proved to be more interactive and contextual as it engaged teachers, students, and KPM university students in active participation. MSMEs are considered a vital sector in strengthening the national economy due to their significant contribution to job creation, gross domestic product (GDP), and economic resilience at the community level during crises. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method using secondary data obtained from previous studies, official publications, online news, and reports from relevant institutions such as Bank of Indonesia, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), and the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs. The analysis focuses on examining the development of MSMEs in East Java during the pandemic, the challenges they faced, and the adaptation strategies undertaken by business actors. The findings reveal that although the Covid-19 pandemic caused serious impacts such as declining demand, distribution disruptions, and financing constraints, MSMEs in East Java continued to make a substantial contribution to the regional economy. Data from the East Java Office of Cooperatives and MSMEs recorded that MSMEs contributed 57.52% to East Java’s GRDP, with an increase of approximately 414,000 new MSME units each year. Moreover, MSMEs in specific sectors, such as food and online trade, demonstrated relative resilience by adapting through digitalization and the use of e-commerce platforms. The research employed the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which consists of the stages of discovery, dream, design, and define/deliver. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, focus group discussions (FGD), activity documentation, and a parenting program trial. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method based on the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that parents are the primary asset in preventing bullying, both individually and as part of the school community. The implementation of democratic parenting has been proven to increase parental knowledge and awareness, improve family communication, and foster children’s social–emotional skills. This study aims to find out how the sorogan method is applied in learning the Qur'an and to find out the effectiveness of the sorogan method in improving students' ability to read the Qur'an. This study uses a qualitative approach, which contains data citations to provide an overview of the presentation of the report. This research was conducted at Madrasah Diniyah Awwaliyah Ar-Rahman Jati Ngrogung. The subjects of this study are school principals, teachers and students. The data collection techniques in this study are interviews, observations and documentation. The result of this research is that the process of applying this sorogan method is divided into 3, namely: beginning, core and end. The application of this sorogan method is applied to students who have just entered the madin school until they reach the goal of the madin itself, which is to be able to read the Qur'an fluently. Supporting factors in the application of this sorogan method include: adequate madrasah facilities and repetition in the material. This local wisdom continues to be preserved, including in Dusun Jati, Ngrogung Village, Ngebel Sub-district, Ponorogo Regency. This study aims to understand the meaning of kenduri as a religious tradition as well as a socio-cultural value inherited from generation to generation by the ancestors. The method employed in this research is qualitative with an ethnographic approach, through interviews with local community leaders, direct observation, and documentation collection. The findings of this research indicate that kenduri not only functions as a medium of collective prayer and an expression of gratitude to God Almighty, but also as a way to strengthen solidarity among the community, reinforce the value of mutual cooperation, and preserve Javanese cultural traditions. The implementation of kenduri in Dusun Jati involves community participation from the preparation, prayer, to the distribution of berkat (food offerings). The local wisdom values contained in this tradition include togetherness, tolerance, solidarity, and cultural preservation. The findings reveal that environmental care character education is implemented through routine habituation programs such as Jumat Bersih (Friday Reset), school waste bank management, school garden maintenance, and the integration of environmental values into classroom learning. The implementation is supported by the commitment of the school principal, active teacher participation, and student involvement, while inhibiting factors include limited facilities and the inconsistent awareness of some students. The lalaran method refers to the collective recitation of the verses with a specific rhythm repeated continuously to facilitate memorization, while tikroran is not much different from lalaran, except that it involves not only repetition of the verses but also their translation (locally referred to as murod). This research employs a qualitative approach whit a case study design. Date were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that lalaran, conducted daily before and after study sessions, serves as an effective activity to strengthen students’memory. The application of this method aims to accelerate the mastery of verses while enhancing the understanding of grammatical rules in Alfiyyah through tikroran translation. Both methods demonstrate a significant impact in reinforcing students’ long-term memorization. Supporting factors include the motivation provided by the caretakers and teaching staff, the solidarity among students, and a conductive learning environment. The main challenges, however, lie in the differences in students’memorization abilities and limited time allocation, as the program for studying Alfiyyah at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Qur’an is designed to be completed within one academic year. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 20 juli- 25 Agustus 2025 dan bertempat di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Qur’an.Proses penelitian dilakukan melalui tahapan identifikasi kebutuhan, perancangan desain kitab dengan tampilan modern dan menarik, hingga uji keterbacaan dan peneriman oleh santri. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pemetaan aset, diskusi kelompok, serta keterlibatan langsung santri bagian laundry. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pesantren memiliki sejumlah aset, meliputi sumber daya manusia (±10 santri bertugas bergiliran), fasilitas fisik (mesin cuci, pengering, setrika, jemuran), logistik (detergen, pewangi, pelembut), serta dukungan komunitas internal (pengurus dan pengasuh). Melalui tahap Dream, dirumuskan visi laundry yang efisien, hemat biaya, bebas kesalahan distribusi, serta mendukung pembentukan karakter santri. Pada tahap Design dan Define, strategi yang disusun meliputi penerapan SOP penggunaan bahan, labelisasi pakaian, penjadwalan fleksibel, pemeliharaan mesin, dan pembentukan tim pengawas. Implementasi strategi ini berhasil meningkatkan ketepatan distribusi, kualitas hasil cucian, dan pemerataan beban kerja. Refleksi tahap Destiny menunjukkan masih ada kendala, seperti konsistensi penerapan SOP, kebutuhan biaya tambahan, dan tantangan pengeringan di musim hujan. The reserch process includes indentifying available assets, building collaboration among pesantren parties, developing a digital- based questions bank system, and implementing and strengthening the sustainability of the program, and implementing this program collaboration the method applied this research ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) Development model which includes steps to analyze needs, design the system, develop this application, implement it in the boarding school environtment, and evaluate iit effectiveness. The research employed a field research design with a qualitative approach. The participants were 12 children from Dusun Kayumas, Ngrogung Village, Ngebel District, who attended tutoring sessions after completing their Madrasah Diniyah (Madin) classes. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively. The findings reveal that the implementation of salat sempurna learning had a positive impact on improving children’s understanding and skills in both recitations and prayer movements. Moreover, the program fostered values of discipline, cooperation, and noble character in line with the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile. Supporting factors included the involvement of ustadzah (religious teachers), KPM students, and the use of the mosque as a learning venue. Challenges encountered were limited time, varying levels of prior knowledge, and differences in learning motivation. Nevertheless, the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach proved effective in utilizing community assets, making the program more efficient and sustainable.
