Focus & Scope

Muharrik: Jurnal Dakwah dan Sosial (Journal of Da’wah and Social Studies) focuses on publishing research articles and conceptual studies that explore the dynamics of Islamic da’wah and social phenomena in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. The scope of this journal includes contemporary methods and strategies of da’wah, the role of digital media in disseminating Islamic messages, socio-religious phenomena, religious moderation and multiculturalism, the transformation of Islamic propagation, including studies on pesantren, gender issues in da’wah, and responses to social challenges such as poverty, conflict, and environmental sustainability. With a multidisciplinary approach, this journal examines the contributions of da’wah in fostering social harmony, empowering communities, and reinforcing Islamic values within the cultural and technological contexts of Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia.
