Currently, humans live in the Millennial era, a life after the global era, where humans have new challenges to create the greatest opportunities. These challenges have enormous benefits for everyone who does them. Millennial humans understand and utilize digital technology in different ways. This study aims to analyze the relevance, effectiveness, and innovation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) materials in elementary schools in facing the challenges of the millennial era. This study uses a library method. The data obtained are library data related to Islamic religious education in Indonesia, data related to the development of the current millennial generation, which are analyzed descriptively through analysis. The results of the study indicate that PAI materials in elementary schools require integration of Islamic values with digital technology and interactive learning methods to improve student understanding. This study recommends updating the curriculum by adjusting the needs of the millennial era by using new innovations that are adapted to Islamic Religious Education Materials in Elementary Schools.
