Each ethnic group has its own stereotype. Stereotypes are beliefs that are overly generalized, simplified or exaggerated about a group. Negative stereotypes of the Chinese ethnic group due to past conflicts. Young Chinese ethnic groups in the Vijendrasaddha Remaja Vihara Cagasasana association, Cukanggalih, Tangerang Regency, have participated in breaking down the negative stereotypes that have existed since ancient times regarding the Chinese ethnic group. The purpose of this study was to find out how young Chinese ethnic groups fight stereotypes that exist in indigenous ethnic communities. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques, namely observation, participation, and interviews. This study uses a study of the Symbolic Interaction theory which has 3 elements, namely Mind, Self, and Society. The results of the study show the efforts of the Chinese Ethnic Group in the Vijendrasaddha Remaja Vihara Cagasasana association, in dealing with negative stereotypes given by indigenous ethnic groups, namely conducting social services and inviting cooperation between ethnic groups.
