As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Author Guidelines
The manuscript has never been published or is not in the process of submission for publication to other media and does not contain elements of plagiarism (preferably accompanied by a written statement from the author and/or checking proof of any plagiarism tool such as Turnitin etc).
The manuscript is written in Indonesian or English with 1.15 line spacing density, Times New Roman 12 font, A4 paper size, 2-2-2-2, and Times New Arabic 16 font (for Arabic words).
The length of the manuscript is 3000-6000 words, at a maximum of 20 pages including pictures, graphics/tables (if any), and the accompanying bibliography.
The manuscript must be accompanied by an abstract (150-200 words) in English and Indonesian and keywords (4-6 words).

All manuscripts that submitted to Qalamuna will go through an editorial process that includes a preliminary examination by the editor, blind review by the reviewer, revision of the article by the author (if necessary), and copyediting and publishing by the editor. The manuscript that is eligible for publication can be edited again by the editor without changing the substance of its content. Should the submitted manuscript is accepted and experiencing the production stage, the editor will issue a letter of acceptance (LoA).
This journal has article publication charges policy as follows:
Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR) Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.
Article Publication: 500,000.00 (IDR) If your submitted paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publication costs. The invoice will be issued together with the letter of acceptance (LoA).
Nevertheless, there is an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy works. Should the author expect the fee waiver, he or she should inform the managing editor as early as possible.
Withdrawal of Manuscripts
The author is not allowed to withdraw submitted manuscripts, because the withdrawal is a waste of valuable resources that editors and reviewers spent a great deal of time processing submitted manuscript, and works invested by the publisher. Moreover, if there is an unethical reason to withdraw due to a double submission to another journal.
If the author still requests withdrawal of his/her manuscript when the manuscript is still in the peer-reviewing process, the author will be punished to pay 500.000 IDR per manuscript as a withdrawal penalty.
If the manuscript is already accepted for publication and/or published, the requesting author will be punished by paying 1.000.000 IDR per manuscript.
The withdrawal process will only be conducted after the penalty has been fully paid. If the author cannot or does not agree to pay such penalty, the author and his/her affiliation will be blacklisted for publication in this journal.
