Revenue Sources, Advertising, and Marketing Policies
Revenue Sources
The Indonesian Journal of Islamic Economics and Finance (IJIEF) operates under a fully Open Access publication model dedicated to the widespread dissemination of scholarly research. The journal does not derive income from subscription fees, paywalls, commercial advertising, or reprint sales.
Financial support for journal operations, digital maintenance, indexing services, and DOI assignment is provided by its publisher, Elkuator Research and Publication. All editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, and publication determinations are made strictly and solely on academic merit, scientific validity, and alignment with the journal's scope—completely independent of any commercial, financial, or institutional considerations.
Advertising Policy
IJIEF maintains a strict policy of not accepting, hosting, or displaying commercial advertisements, paid banners, or corporate sponsorships on its official website, within published article PDFs, or across its communications platforms.
Should advertising or sponsorship frameworks be considered in the future, such content will be explicitly and visually distinguished from scholarly content. Advertisers and sponsors will hold zero involvement, influence, or authority over editorial policies, peer-review workflows, or manuscript selection.
Direct Marketing Policy
All direct marketing, promotional outreach, and editorial solicitations conducted on behalf of IJIEF—including Call for Papers (CFPs), announcements, and academic network updates—are carried out in a targeted, ethical, and non-intrusive manner.
-
Communication Integrity: Direct marketing is restricted to official email channels, verified academic directories, and institutional networks.
-
Accuracy and Transparency: All promotional communications provide clear, honest, and non-misleading information regarding the journal’s focus, peer-review standards, indexing status, and editorial guidelines.
-
Editorial Independence: Marketing campaigns and paper solicitations operate independently of the peer-review process and do not guarantee manuscript acceptance or expedited editorial decisions.
