This study aims to analyze the integration of tolerance values in digital-based Islamic Religious Education, identify the role of digital and religious literacy in preventing intolerant and radical narratives, and formulate an implementation framework for developing religious, tolerant, and inclusive character. The study employs a library research approach by reviewing relevant books, peer-reviewed journal articles, and research reports. The findings reveal that: (1) tolerance values should be integrated into Islamic Religious Education learning objectives, materials, teaching strategies, digital activities, and assessment; (2) digital learning should serve as a space for constructive dialogue, information verification, religious literacy, empathy, and media ethics; (3) early prevention of radicalism can be strengthened through tolerance, openness, critical thinking, non-violence, and respect for diversity; and (4) implementation requires teachers’ digital and pedagogical competence, credible religious resources, continuous guidance, and collaboration between schools and families. The study concludes that digital-based Islamic Religious Education can function as a preventive educational strategy to strengthen students’ resilience against intolerance and extremist narratives while fostering an inclusive religious character. The implementation involves integrating tolerance-based digital activities into Islamic Religious Education lessons, strengthening students’ digital and religious literacy, providing teacher guidance in evaluating online religious content, and involving families in supervising and reinforcing positive digital learning practices.
