Amalee: Indonesian Journal of Community Research and Engagement is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal focusing on university-community engagement programs, applied science in the community to advance theories, as well as research and practices related to all forms of outreach and engagement.

On this issue (Vol 1 No 2 - 2020), published eight articles written by academics from IAIN Ponorogo, Universitas Islam Malang, Universitas Gajah Mada, INSURI Ponorogo, STIKES Sumbar Pariaman, Universitas Bina Nusantara, Institut Pesantren Mathaliul Falah, Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga, and Universitas Ottow Geissler Jayapura, Papua that discuss topics ranging from community development both in rural and urban areas: school teachers' and micro enterprises' skills development, IT-based solutions for community waste problem, and local richness based empowering program.
