Amalee: Indonesian Journal of Community Research and Engagement is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal focusing on university-community engagement programs, applied science in the community to advance theories, as well as research and practices related to all forms of outreach and engagement.

On this issue (Vol 2 No 1 - January 2021), published articles written by academics from Universitas Islam Lamongan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo, Institut Agama Islam Sunan Giri Ponorogo, Poltekkes Kemenkes Pangkalpinang Bangka Belitung Island, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Universitas Borneo Tarakan North Kalimantan, and Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta that discuss topics ranging from community development both in rural and urban areas: students' capacity empowerment in using digital learning method as well as facing disaster situation, teachers' preparedness in facing new normal mode in an education setting, rural youth ability in public speaking, breastfeeding mothers in storing breast milk, urban aquaponic cultivation technology, and machine innovation on local culinary MSMEs.
